Ms. Sease graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Writing and a minor in Spanish. During her time as an undergraduate, Ms. Sease’s interest in writing grew, and she developed the communication skills that are central to a successful legal career. Ms. Sease also had the unique opportunity to diversify her cultural background while living abroad in Seville, Spain. Her passion for writing continued to flourish as she attended the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she served as a senior associate editor for the Law Review. At the conclusion of her academic career, Ms. Sease completed an externship as a law clerk for a judge in the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. The externship provided her with a unique perspective that further promotes her ability to work as an effective advocate for her clients.

Experience

Tara M. Sease practices in several areas with a primary focus on family law and secondary focuses on estate planning, general civil litigation, and corporate law. Ms. Sease is experienced in handling family law cases throughout Western Pennsylvania. She has provided representation in areas of divorce, property distribution, support, custody, and protection from abuse matters, along with other related claims. Ms. Sease also has experience litigating partition matters and other civil claims.

Prior to joining Adamczyk Law Offices, LLP, Ms. Sease worked at a civil litigation firm for two (2) years where she singlehandedly managed and maintained her family law practice while assisting the partners on their civil litigation matters. Prior to that, Ms. Sease worked at a general practice firm. The diversity of a general practice background helped to expand her knowledge in different practice areas and created a strong foundation for her focus on family law, which traditionally requires clients and their attorneys to address a wide variety of issues that may arise.

Memberships & Accolades

Ms. Sease serves the legal community as an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, as the 2023-2024 Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, a member of the Board of Governors, and a council member of the Family Law Section. During Ms. Sease’s 2022-2023 Chair-Elect year, she oversaw the Bar Leadership Initiative Class, who raised over $1,400.00 during a happy hour and collected over 140 pieces of luggage, all which was donated to a local charity assisting with foster children. Ms. Sease was also selected to be in the 2020 BLI class.

Ms. Sease’s service to the bar expands outside the local community of Pittsburgh, as she is an active member of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has

been chosen to represent Allegheny County at annual conferences hosted by the national and state bar.

Community Involvement & Achievements

When Ms. Sease is outside the office and the courtroom, she volunteers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 2017, Ms. Sease was honored as one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest, which is a distinction that recognizes select individuals for their professional achievements and commitment to helping others. Ms. Sease enjoys spending time with her husband and Pomeranian, Soprano. Lastly, Ms. Sease is a retired Pittsburgh Passion Women’s Football player. Other involvements and distinctions include:
